50cube: 500 people, 50km, $50,000.
50cube is a cause/initiative started by DooGoodSG in 2015. Last year's project saw 65 people hiking 50km across Singapore and we raised $20,000 for our beneficiaries. Prior to the hike, our hikers also visited one of beneficiaries, Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home, to spend some time with the elderly folk there. Our other beneficiary was Alzheimer's Diseases Association (Singapore).
Last year, 50cube brought together 60 members of the public, 17 private companies, 7 celebrities and an online community of 1,000 people. We were also featured on Power 98 FM and Lush 99.5fm.
This year we aim for $50,000 for the same beneficiaries and we appeal for 500 hikers to step forward.
DooGoodSG is a social enterprise that works with youths-at-risk and ex-offenders to plan and execute events of social impact.
50cube 2016 is project of DooGoodSG, and also a Youth Corps Leader's Project supported by Youth Corps Singapore.

Do we take our transport for granted?
Chuu Chuu is a ground-up initiative to appreciate our Unsung Train Heroes namely the SMRT Station Staff, Maintenance Crew and Train Drivers. Join us on this initiative to appreciate them and thank them for going the extra mile and working tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our trains moving.
Chuu Chuu is supported by the Young Change Makers Grant administered by the National Youth Council. This meaningful initiative is also aligned with Youth Corps Singapore ‘Common Space for Common Good’ initiative which encourages youths to be engaged in meaningful community activities, as well as foster deeper bonds between them and the MRT staff in common spaces such as the MRT stations.
