We are looking for passionate youth volunteers who are keen to work with the elderly and assist in the mobile technology session.

From Me To You will take place from 24th March 2018 to 2nd June 2018 at The Agape and Family@Agape, a community space established by Lakeside Family Services for residents in Taman Jurong. Address: 21 Yung Ho Rd, Singapore 618593. Nearest MRT: Lakeside Station.

As a Volunteer Befriender (VB), your roles and responsibilities include:

  1. Befriending and engaging the elderly during the mobile technology session.
  2. Assist and help with any technical issues.

You will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to engage the elderly during the Orientation and Training.

The commitment for this regular service programme is at least 8 out of 11 sessions, for a period of 3 months from March 2018 to June 2018.


Do take note that the workshop is conducted in Chinese and most of the seniors are Chinese speaking.

Who We Are

Youth Corps Singapore is a national institution that supports young Singaporeans who are keen to serve the community. As the champion for youth volunteerism, it harnesses the energy and passion of youths to ignite positive change in the society through community service.

Bringing together Singapore Citizens and PRs aged 16 to 35, Youth Corps Singapore provides a platform for youths to learn new skills and meet like-minded peers, who aspire to go forth and create a better Singapore and a better world for all.

What We Offer

As a Member of Youth Corps Singapore, you can make friends with people like yourself at various platforms. Whether it’s health, education, or environmental causes, we offer a diverse range of volunteering opportunities and events for our Members, from community service events to regular volunteering.

Members can also join our Leaders Programme as Aspirants. We provide relevant trainings where you can take your skills and knowledge of service-learning to the next level, and apply them to a project to impact the community. You will also forge greater bonds with fellow Aspirants, and enjoy exclusive perks. When you are conferred as a Leader, you get to continue to develop yourself, initiate community projects and rally your friends to join you on a good cause.

The Red Box

Set in the heart of Orchard Road, The Red Box is a place for youths to gather, exchange ideas and take action to make Singapore a better home for all. Its name draws inspiration from the red box of Singapore’s Founding Prime Minister, Mr Lee Kuan Yew. It represents the late Mr Lee’s love and conviction towards creating a better Singapore.

The Red Box is open to all Youth Corps Members to ignite positive change in our community. Look out for various enrichment and engagement sessions at The Red Box.
